The Sunday with Gina and Xue Hua

Hi all,

Today, I was in school helping Gina and Xue Hua. Alas, the misery, the torture, the indignities I faced while helping them to decode their assignments. Fortunately, the day turned out great with jokes and hilarity abound (sorry for the extreme Victorian English =P). I finally got to set my display picture to the one that Xue Hua drew - I must admit, it really mimics me.

I hope the viewers of the blog agree with me. Till next time, good bye! =P

PCF Award... Yay! :P

Hi all,

Last Saturday, 24th November, I went to the Botanic Gardens near Orchard to receive the PAP Community Foundation (PCF) award given to students who did well in school. I even got to shake hands with our prime minister himself, Lee Hsien Long. I must say, he's very very tall, standing at about 1.8m, I think. We were patrolled and observed by police all the way from the meeting point at the Botany Centre to the Shaw Foundation Symphony Stage. Security was very tight, and we had to wear tags to identify ourselves.

The Botany Centre meeting point

We walked all the way to the stage, and the atmosphere there was pretty jubilant. Lots of people were cheering and clapping. I thought it was a bit unplanned, as there were no seats for the audience and recipients, and we had to seat on the grass.

I still have the verification sticker: I decided to stick it on my computer. :P He he.

Verification Sticker. Eeeee. :P

Well, that's it for today. Bye!

I Love 98.7FM DJ Soo

Hi all,

Yes! Soo, the 98.7FM DJ from 8pm to 10pm, read out my shout outs again! Yay! She's my most favorite DJ in the whole wide world. She plays the nicest songs and to me, is so very cheerful all the time. Ha ha. =P Here is what I wrote:

Hie Soo! Can you play me the newest song by Avril Lavigne? I think the song name is "ridiculous". Please? I love the song so very much ever since I heard it on air. I would also like to give a shoutout to all my close friends to support me when I get the PCF award handed out by our very own prime minister! Thanks! =P

Then guess what happened? My shoutout was one of the very first that she read out! Ha ha. She told me to tell her more about the award, so I wrote to her again:

Hie Soo! Thank you so much for reading out my shoutout! You're my most favorite DJ in the whole world! =P Anyway, PCF stands for PAP Community Foundation. It's some sort of a study award for doing very well in school. Thanks Soo. You're the best. =)

To my utmost suprise, she replied me! Ha ha. She wrote:

wow! thnks for lettin me know!
Congrats,,, Smiles, Soo

I love Soo. Ha ha. =P

Big Project

Hi all,

I’m so sorry I haven’t had time to update my blog. =P I’ve just been so busy with the school work and other matters. Anyway, the friends catalog is still under construction. I make no promises (this after a hard earned lesson by interviewing Mr. Peter), but it should be ready in a week’s time. A lot of work to be done, so little time to do it. =P Ha ha. The whole school week has just been very hectic on my class, especially for certain individuals that in the name of privacy, forbids me from saying out anything. I have done my best to complete the task, and help certain others along the way. I do feel that my group has a certain animosity towards me for going a little bit overboard to help them when my own work is half-finished, and I will try my best to curb this behavior and only help when my work is completed.

I care a lot for my EWAD and SWEN teams, and to me, they are some of THE BEST people to work with in the world. There is a certain bond between the members in the team, and the group gives this staggeringly good atmosphere for doing conducive work. Ryan is always friendly and there to suggest a constant stream of ideas, and Phyo is basically one of the nicest people in the world to me. And as for Kai Wen, she takes great pride in her work and always starts with her best foot forward. I just feel lucky to be in the group, and I hope the group members feel the same. Sometimes it is the only protective shield that I know against the mad, chaotic barrage of assignments. May god bless them. :P

Friends Catalog

Hi all,

I’m going to be starting a catalog listing all my friends and what I know so far about them. The assessment will also include a not unnecessarily unbiased view of them and it is a frank viewpoint of my thoughts about them. The catalog mentioned will feature friends that I am very close with may include juicy gossip attained over the period of time I am with them. The catalog is not a platform of which to discredit or humiliate them but a very true personal account about them, my feelings towards them and things I would like to know about them that make them very special to me, to the point where to me they are worth mentioning. Thus without further ado, I shall release the list of names of the honorable ones which when without, would make the passage of life intolerable.

Old school friends:

Dakshanan(Shanan)

New age friends:
